In memory of his beloved mother, who passed away in 2023, Abbas founded Jeejal Amar Trust — a community organisation rooted in his home village. The Trust has established a village library providing young people with books, reading materials and a dedicated space for study. The library stands as a living tribute, nurturing the next generation of readers, thinkers and writers from the very soil where Abbas himself grew up.
